The customer contact me and said she already knows what she wants. I love this type of challenge. She explained, ” I want hands over a cauldron creating a brew or potion.” The first challenge was creating an illustration with two hands over the cauldron without losing one of the main details of the logo, to show an actual brown hand.  Once I figured that out, I needed to use one hand the elements of the logo begin to take form. The fonts I chose to give the word “Melanated” a textured look to play off the cauldron. I used a more whimsical font for the word magic weaving a swirling around other elements. I gave the customer color options and we met in the middle on the colors. She is happy and I look forward to seeing Melanated Magic products.
